Zach is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning Director of Photography from Maine. He was one of the first TV camera operators to arrive at the scene of the attack in Charlottesville in 2017, and for this work he was recognized as a finalist for the Rory Peck Award. In addition to being the DP for VICE News Tonight on HBO, Zach has shot for Parts Unknown with Anthony Bourdain, ESPN and Tribeca Film Institute, where he taught cinematography. His work has focused on conflict and human rights in places such as Syria, Burma, Brazil, Haiti, Libya, Uganda and rural America. Zach carries a Part 107 Drone Pilot's license, HEFAT certification and an SDI Open Water Scuba Diver license.

He lives in NYC.
